- Fr. McNulty will be here again from Tuesday, 21st October to Thursday, 6th November.
- Please note, like before, he will cover the weekend Masses in both parishes, funerals and sick calls.
- Mass on Monday, 3rd November for All Souls will be, Bearsden -10a.m. Milngavie - 7p.m.
- Apart from this and any funerals, during the week it will be Eucharistic Services like last time.

Parking on the church driveway
- Following risk assessment guidance, Parishioners should immediately refrain from parking on the double yellow lines on the church driveway and in the turning circle outside the main church entrance door next to the disabled parking bay at all times.
- This is to ensure a clear and safe access for emergency vehicles.
- Your assistance in this matter is much appreciated.
P3 Parents
- Those intending to present their child for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent 2026, please collect an enrolment form from the Sacristy before or after Mass.
- No requirement to re-enrol for First Holy Communion.
- Your form and all the details on it from last year (P3) will automatically roll on to the P4 list.
The Month of October
- Is dedicated in a special way to promoting and supporting the Church's missionary work.
- This emphasis is particularly close to the heart of Pope Leo, who himself served as a missionary in Peru.
- Throughout October the Holy Father urges us to pray for the church in mission countries, especially where the church is small, poor or newly established.
LUNCH CLUB
- The next meeting of the lunch club is this Thursday, 16th October 12.30-2.30p.m.

- As always everyone is very welcome.
- Come along bring a friend, a neighbour, a family member and enjoy lunch “in a warm friendly environment".
COFFEE MORNING, NEXT SUNDAY 19th October
- Please join us in the Upper Hall, after 10a.m. Mass, for tea, coffee and some delicious home baking.
- This month we are raising funds for Alzheimer’s Research.

Bearsden Literary Society
- Begins this Monday, 13th October in the Lower Hall at 7.45p.m.

Please attend SPUC’s Candlelight Procession to ensure these precious lives are not forgotten.
- Thursday 30th October
- SPUC's Candlelight Procession will leave John Street at Glasgow City Chambers at 6:30pm, heading toward St Andrew's Cathedral.
- There will then be the praying of the Rosary in the Cathedral at 7pm, followed by Mass at 7:30pm.
Pause for Hope: An Ecumenical Service for all people affected by Cancer.
- Sunday 26th October at 4p.m. in Croftfoot United Free Church, 349 Carmunnock Road, G44 5HH.
- Reflection by Rev Leslie Edge, Chaplain to the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
- You will hear of the work of the Hospice and a collection will be taken up for the vital work of the Hospice.
- You will have the opportunity to light a candle and leave a prayer intention for yourself or people you know who have been affected by cancer.

- Since everything is interrelated, concern for the protection of nature is also incompatible with the justification of abortion.
- How can we genuinely teach the importance of concern for other vulnerable beings, however troublesome or inconvenient they may be, if we fail to protect a human embryo, even when its presence is uncomfortable and creates difficulties? (#120)
Jubilee of Marian Spirituality, 11-12 October
- During this month of the Holy Rosary, why not accept Pope Leo’s invitation to pray the Rosary every day this month for Peace in the Holy Land and in all other nations.
Anti-Slavery Week, 13-19 October
- An opportunity to raise awareness about human trafficking, forced labour, and other forms of modern slavery.

The St Andrew’s Parish Christmas Fair
- Saturday 15th November after the Vigil Mass and
- Sunday 16th November after 10a.m. Mass.
- As always, all of the profit made by the Piety Stall goes to Church funds.

- The Archdiocese is holding a Lay Assembly for Evangelisation on Saturday, 1st November from 11a.m - 3.30p.m. in Christ The King Church Hall, Kings Park. The Speaker is Mgr. John Armitage from the Diocese of Brentwood. Would anyone be interested in attending? If so, please see Fr. Michael a.s.a.p.
- St. Margaret's Hospice is having a Dinner Dance on Saturday, 15th November at 7p.m. in the Kerrydale Suite at Celtic Park. More details from the poster in the porch.
