"Lord, when your glory appears, my joy will be full."
Assisted Dying Bills are currently being debated in both the Scottish and UK Parliaments. This issue is clearly a very sensitive one. People are moved by concern for those who are suffering and for their families. Ironically, this month marks the 10th Anniversary of the WHO call to all nations to fully integrate palliative care into their healthcare systems. Such care should be at the forefront of any future NHS reform as, above all, it offers the alternative to legalised assisted suicide. Justice & Peace
Assisted Suicide –Please contact your MSPs today to stop assisted suicide becoming legal in Scotland. Access the Write to Them website: https://writetothem.com and write to your MSPs (and/or your MP). See more on: https://rcpolitics.org/
Essential work within the entire St. Andrew's Complex begins tomorrow Monday 11th November and should last between 2-3 weeks. This means the Church, House and Hut will be out of bounds. There will be no Masses/ Services during the week over this time period, barring any Funerals. We will still have the use of the church for weekend Masses. Emails during this period of work will not be opened until the weekend
Food Donation Box Relocated Due to Heating Works 🌟
Starting this Monday, the church heating works will begin and continue for the next three weeks. As a result, we’ve temporarily relocated our food donation box to the back of the church, where it will still be accessible as usual. We’ve put up signs around the church to help everyone find it easily!
Looking ahead, we’re hoping to establish a permanent garden box within the church grounds to make drop-offs and pick-ups even more convenient for our community. We’ll keep you updated on this exciting plan!
Thank you for your understanding and continued support!
Every donation makes a difference! 💙

Laudato Si’ - On Care for our Common Home - It is clearly inconsistent to combat trafficking in endangered species while remaining completely indifferent to human trafficking, unconcerned about the poor, or undertaking to destroy another human being deemed unwanted. This compromises the very meaning of our struggle for the sake of the environment. (#91)
