Catholic Social Teaching Thought for the Week – 14th June 2026
Indeed, “from the heart of the Gospel we see the profound connection between evangelization and human advancement”.  For Christian communities, this entails a clear commitment to the justice of God’s kingdom through work for the advancement of those who have been “discarded”.
Querida Amazonia, para 75

Laudato Si’ Quote - integral ecology When we speak of the “environment”, what we really mean is a relationship existing between nature and the society which lives in it. Nature cannot be regarded as something separate from ourselves or as a mere setting in which we live. We are part of nature, included in it and thus in constant interaction with it. (#139)
