Since you were faithful in small matters,
I will give you great responsibilities."
As stated last weekend, Fr. John's recovery has taken a little pause. Therefore, the present system will remain in place with the following changes.
· St Andrew's, Bearsden.
- Masses - Thursday and Friday - 10a.m.
- Eucharistic Services - Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday - 10a.m.
- Vigil Mass (Saturday) - 5.30p.m.
- Mass - Sunday morning - 10a.m.
- Confessions - Sunday - 9.10a.m. until 9.40a.m.
- It may be of help in Bearsden on Sunday mornings if you wish to speak to Fr. Michael to do so after morning confessions which end at 9.40a.m.
- Mass - Monday - 10a.m.
- Vigil Mass (Saturday) - 4p.m.
- Confessions - Saturday - 3.30p.m. until 3.50p.m.
- Mass - Sunday morning - 11.30a.m.
We have decided to change the Vigil Masses (Saturday evening) in both parishes due to clocks going back and the winter nights. Hope this helps and many thanks once more for your understanding.
This system will be reviewed at the end of January 2026.

"When a system fails to feed the poor it is time to look out for one that does."
Archbishop Frederick Keating of Liverpool (1921 – 1928)
Laudato Si’ - On Care for our Common Home
Is it (the culture of relativism) not the same relativistic logic which justifies buying the organs of the poor for resale or use in experimentation, or eliminating children because they are not what their parents wanted?
This same “use and throw away” logic generates so much waste, because of the disordered desire to consume more than what is really necessary. (#123)
