Remember Vocations - Saturday 7th February
- Eucharistic Adoration for Vocations to the Priesthood, 10 -11a.m. with Exposition, Rosary and Benediction.
- Have you noticed there seems to be fewer priests to serve parishes these days. Is that because not many people are praying for Vocations? And because so few parishioners visit Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and pray the Rosary for Vocations?
- Why don’t you come and “Pray the Lord of the harvest to send more labourers into the harvest”?
"The Church is called to bear witness to Christ by taking courageous and prophetic stands in the face of the corruption of political or economic power; by not seeking her own glory and material wealth; by using her resources to serve the poorest of the poor and by imitating Christ's own simplicity of life."
Pope Saint John Paul II, Redemptoris Missio, para. 43
