ST ANDREW'S, BEARSDEN.

• This weekend you will be informed of what the future will look like concerning Mass times within the parish. Details should be printed in next week's bulletin. Again, many thanks for your patience and understanding over this period.
  
• Saturday mornings Holy Hour from 10a.m.-11a.m. This usually takes place every Saturday and you are welcome to pop in for whatever amount of time you can give.
  
• Weekday Mass - Monday, Thursday and Friday at 10a.m.
  
• Eucharistic Service: Tuesday and Wednesday at 10a.m.

 
ST JOSEPH'S, MILNGAVIE.

• Vigil Mass - 4p.m. Confessions from 3.30p.m. to 3.40p.m.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS: The Funeral of Adalcisa Pierotti will take place in St Andrew's on Monday, 1st June at 10a.m.

BEARSDEN ACADEMY. The school is offering 4 seats for anyone who wishes to join them for their Summer concert on Wednesday, 3rd June at 2.30p.m. If you wish more details or wish to attend, please see Fr Michael as soon as possible.
 
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION. The children who recently received their First Holy Communion will join us at the 10a.m. Mass on Sunday, 31st May, followed by a celebration in the Upper Hall.

MAY ROSARY:

• The Holy Rosary will be said each Sunday throughout May starting from Sunday 10th May at 4.30p.m. 
• Mary asked At Fatima (1917) that the rosary be prayed daily. Our Lady said: "I am the Lady of the Rosary."
• Mary asked us to pray the Rosary for peace in the world. 
• Will you come along and answer Mary's request?

MAY DEVOTIONS: There will be May devotions every Sunday in May in St. Joseph's Milngavie at 5pm led by Deacon Nick.
 
ST ANDREW’S WHIST DRIVE:

• Wednesday 27th May, in the Lower Hall, from 2p.m. - 4:15p.m.
  
• Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.
  
• Entry £3.
  
• Looking forward to seeing everyone. New members always welcome.

 
The Church is Open:

• Until 5p.m. Monday to Saturday.
  
• Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God.

Tea is served in the hut after daily Mass/Services Monday to Thursday. All most welcome.

PARISH PADRE PIO GROUP:

• Meets for prayers in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St Andrews, Roman Rd 
  
• 2p.m. on the first Monday of each month.
  
• Next meeting is next Monday, 1st June 2026. 

ANNUAL ASN MASS:

• On Monday 1st June at 5:15p.m. Archbishop Nolan will celebrate the annual Mass in the Cathedral for Catholic children and young people in the Archdiocese with additional support needs.
• All are warmly welcome.
• It is a joyful and uplifting occasion, celebrating the gifts of our young people and affirming the care and support they receive.
• Refreshments will be served after Mass.

 
GLASGOW THE WELCOMING CITY:

• Glasgow City Chambers, Sunday 7th June 2026 at 3p.m.
  
• An event celebrating diverse cultures and Glasgow as a welcoming city to those seeking refuge and asylum.
  
• We will pray for peace in our world and look forward to the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
  
• Enjoy music and song with St Anne’s Dennistoun, Southside Fiddlers, The St Mungo Ensemble, Ukrainian musicians and singers and the St Mungo Singers.
  
• Refreshments afterwards.
  
• This is a free event.

Laudato Si’ Quote - integral ecology
Ecology studies the relationship between living organisms and the environment in which they develop. This necessarily entails reflection and debate about the conditions required for the life and survival of society, and the honesty needed to question certain models of development, production and consumption. Sunday 24th May - Anniversary of the publication of Laudato Si’(2015) by Pope Francis.  A good day to thank God for this ground-breaking encyclical on Care for Our Common Home, and to reflect on our own personal responsibility to respond positively.
 
Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Scotland are holding a Camp Out for Hope!

• Come along on Saturday, 30th May - Sunday, 31st May at Carfin Grotto from 8pm - 8am for an all-night prayer vigil, opportunities to learn how you can make a real difference, and time to relax.
• Spaces are limited, so signing up is essential!
