  • New Year’s Day Mass: 10:00 a.m. (NB NOT 10:30 a.m.)

Update re ABC Carol Singing at ASDA on Saturday 14 December: First of all, many thanks to the three members of St Andrew’s Church who gave up their time to sing carols at ASDA. We were joined by members from Boclair Community Church and New Kilpatrick Parish Church. £445.34 was collected which has been split equally between Drumchapel Foodbank and Women’s Aid in Bearsden/Milngavie.

The Archbishop will celebrate the 12 Noon Mass in the Cathedral today, Sunday 29th December, the Feast of the Holy Family, to mark the local opening of the Jubilee year. A new Jubilee Cross has been commissioned which will be blessed during the Mass and will hang on the back wall of the sanctuary for the duration of the Holy Year.
 
Second Collection There will be a Second Collection next weekend, 4th/5th January for Justice & Peace. There is a letter in the porch on Justice & Peace for anyone who wishes to read it.

Plate Collections. Starting in January, we hope to print what you hand into the plate for the church.

RCAG Young Adult Sessions: St Mungo’s City Pilgrimage Walk. Children's Liturgy ~ We are looking for more volunteers to help with running the Children's Liturgy. This will involve being on a rota to take the children during the Liturgy of the Word at 10a.m. Sunday Mass. If you are interested in joining our team, please speak to one of the members or Fr Michael.

Support for Drumchapel Foodbank. Non-perishable food items are always gratefully received and can be placed in the box in the Church porch during our usual opening times. Donations can also be taken straight to the Foodbank at Ladyloan Pl Unit 9, G158LB. We regularly use cash donations to purchase food items for delivery straight to the foodbank. Our rota is always looking for more foodbank volunteer drivers. If you can help, please get in touch. Thanks for continuing to give the foodbank your support.
