• Confessions beginning at 4p.m. until 4.20p.m.

For The Diary

• Fr. McNulty will be here from Tuesday, 21st October until Thursday, 6th November.
• Like before, he will cover weekend Masses in both parishes, funerals and sick calls.

Mass during the week will be:

• Monday, 3rd November for All Souls at 10am in Bearsden and 7pm in Milngavie.
• Friday, 7th November at 10am in Bearsden.
• Apart from this and any funerals, during the week it will be Eucharistic Services like last time. If you have to arrange a funeral during this time, please call the Chapel House and your call will be directed.

THE PARISH PADRE PIO Group

• Meets for prayers in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St Andrews, Roman Rd
• 7p.m. on the first Monday of every month.
• Next meeting this Monday, 3rd November 2025. 

November Lists are at the back of the church. When completed, hand them into the Sacristy or Chapel House.

P3 Parents 

• Those intending to present their child for the Sacrament of Reconciliation during Lent 2026, please collect an enrolment form from the Sacristy before or after Mass.

P4 Parents 

• No requirement to re-enrol for First Holy Communion.
• Your form and all the details on it from last year (P3) will automatically roll on to the P4 list. 

All forms are to be returned, please, by Sunday, 2nd November 2025.
 
All Sacrament of Confirmation candidates from St Andrews and St Josephs parishes should attend a preparation session:

• Sunday 16th November 2pm
• St Andrew's Lower Hall.
• Children should be collected at 3:30 pm.

For the Diary - Our Remembrance Mass for all those who have died over the past year.

• It is an opportunity for us all to remember our Loved Ones.
• Please note the time of Mass on that day.
• Fr. John will be celebrating the Sunday Mass in Milngavie which means we can have our Remembrance Mass.

Next Lunch Club

• Thursday 6th Nov.12:30 - 2:30p.m. in the Upper Hall.
• Given it is November it will have a ‘Remembrance‘ theme with a musical (i.e. sing along) interlude.

COP30 Climate Summit – Mass and Livestream

• Monday 10th November, 1.00p.m. St Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow.
• Hosted by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland’s Care of Creation Office and supported by Justice & Peace Scotland, SCIAF, and SCES.
• This Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Nolan to pray for the success of the COP30 climate summit in Brazil.
• After Mass, join us for refreshments in Eyre Hall and a live video update from SCIAF’s Ben Wilson in Brazil.
• All are welcome.

 
Support Group for Catholic Women Affected by Separation and Divorce

AGAP Theatre National Tour: "Pilgrim of Hope"

• A solo comedy play inspired by the letter of Pope Francis for the Jubilee Year.

Please join us at the St Andrew’s Parish Christmas Fair​

• After the Masses on Saturday 15th November and Sunday 16th November. 
• As always, all of the profits made by the Piety Stall go to Church funds. 
• Tea, coffee and home baking will be served after the Sunday morning Mass with all proceeds going to The White Lily Fund, a charity founded by one of our own parishioners, Angela Bruno MBE.

#RedWednesday, 19th November

• Scottish Cathedrals will join Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in celebrating Mass to remember Christians across the world who suffer for their faith.
• 80% of all religious persecution in the world is directed against Christians.

Support for Drumchapel Foodbank.

• Non-perishable food items are always gratefully received.

• Free boom boxes are supplied - the Post Office provides a free postal service - therefore no cost to listeners.
