St Andrew's, Bearsden.
  • Vigil Mass (Saturday) - 5.30p.m.
  • Mass - Sunday morning - 10a.m.
  • Confessions - Sunday before Mass - 9.10a.m. until 9.40a.m.
  • It may be of help in Bearsden on Sunday mornings if you wish to speak to Fr. Michael to do so after morning confessions which end at 9.40am.
  • Eucharistic Services - Monday to Friday 10a.m.
  • Saturday mornings Holy Hour from 10a.m.-11a.m. This usually takes place every Saturday and you are welcome to pop in for whatever amount of time you can give.
St Joseph's, Milngavie.
  • Vigil Mass (Saturday) - 4p.m.
  • Confessions - Saturday - 3.30p.m. until 3.40p.m.
  • Mass - Sunday - 11.30a.m.

FUNERAL/SICK CALLS. If you have to make contact concerning a funeral or sick call, please phone the Chapel House and you will be guided by the answering machine.
 
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS: The funeral of James McCann will take place on Monday, 11th May at 10am in St. Andrew's Church.

Many thanks to all who baked, helped and attended April’s coffee morning in aid of Roisin McLaren’s volunteer trip to Kenya. She is going to support and teach in an education centre there. The amazing sum of £633.33 was raised and Roisin sends a huge thank you to you all, she is bowled over by your kindness and generosity.
​Also, Fr Mathew J. Parumoottil (March’s coffee morning) has sent a ‘thank you’ letter which is on the Narthax board. 
 
Lunch Club:
  • The next meeting of the lunch club is this Thursday, 7th May, 12.30-2.30p.m. in the Upper Hall.
  • As always everyone is very welcome.
  • Come along bring a friend, a neighbour, a family member and enjoy lunch “in a warm friendly environment".
 
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION:
  • Some of our children will receive their First Holy Communion on Sunday, 10th May at 12 Noon Mass.
  • Please keep them in your prayers.
 
PARISH PADRE PIO Group:
  • Meets for prayers in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at St Andrews, Roman Road at 2p.m. on the first Monday of each month.
  • Next meeting is this Monday, 4th May 2026.

St Margaret of Scotland Youth Group 50th Anniversary Fundraising Dinner:
  • Saturday 9th May at the Raddison Blu, Glasgow.
  • Join the SMSYG as they celebrate their 50th year of assisting the Archdiocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage.
  • Tickets are £65.
  • Drinks reception, 3-course meal, music and dancing. 6.30pm-late.

Before receiving Holy Communion, we are asked to make some act of reverence such as a bow.
 
The Church is open until 5p.m. Monday to Saturday. Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God.

Tea is served in the hut after daily Mass/Services Monday to Thursday. All most welcome.

Support for Drumchapel Foodbank:
  • Non-perishable food items are always gratefully received. Please place in the box in the Church porch during usual opening times.
  • Donations can be taken straight to the Foodbank at Ladyloan Pl Unit 9, G15 8LB.
  • We regularly use cash donations to purchase food items for delivery straight to the foodbank.
  • Our rota is always looking for more foodbank volunteer drivers.

Our volunteers:
  • Collect donations every evening from M&S Milngavie and deliver to St Gregory’s, Wyndford Foodbank and Aspire West End which helps people get back on their feet.
