The gift we can offer others is so simple a thing as hope. Fr Daniel Berrigan S.J

Laudato Si’ - On Care for our Common Home - The technocratic paradigm also tends to dominate economic and political life. The economy accepts every advance in technology with a view to profit, without concern for its potentially negative impact on human beings. Finance overwhelms the real economy. (#109)

Remember Vocations this Easter - Annual Vigil for Vocations to the priesthood, deaconate and consecrated religious life on Thursday evening 8th May at 7p.m. - 9p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes, Cardonald. The evening will commence with a concelebrated Mass followed by Eucharistic Adoration, guest speaker, refreshments and concluding with Night Prayer and Benediction around 9.00p.m. This is an opportunity to pray for more vocations for our Archdiocese and beyond.  "The harvest is rich but the labourers are few." Luke 10:2.

Glasgow 850: Celebrating the legacy of Archbishop Robert Blackadder, first Archbishop of Glasgow. Glasgow Church Leaders with Glasgow Churches Together invites you to an ecumenical service to celebrate the life and legacy of Archbishop Blackadder on SUNDAY 11th May at 4p.m. in Glasgow Cathedral, Castle Street G4 0QZ.
Reflection by Archbishop William Nolan.

Before receiving Holy Communion, we are asked to make some act of reverence such as a bow.

Regarding young children who haven’t made their First Communion being given a blessing at Communion time. Parents who wish their child to receive a blessing must come forward, please, in the Communion line to the priest.  Many thanks.
