For the Diary - Our Remembrance Mass for all those who have died over the past year.

• It is an opportunity for us all to remember our Loved Ones.
• Please note the time of Mass on that day.
• Fr. John will be celebrating the Sunday Mass in Milngavie which means we can have our Remembrance Mass.

Altar Servers’ Awards.  

• On Sunday 9th November at the 10.00 am Mass, three Servers, Andrea, Ben, and Celine, are to be enrolled into the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen.
• Each will receive the familiar bronze medal on a red cord, having demonstrated, by assisting at Mass regularly for over two years by serving at the Altar, their commitment to this Parish Ministry.
• If any more youngsters would like to start serving, please approach Fr Michael or Chris Sanders (942 7519).

 
Please join us at the St Andrew’s Parish Christmas Fair​

• After the Masses on Saturday 15th November and Sunday 16th November. 
• As always, all of the profits made by the Piety Stall go to Church funds. 
• Tea, coffee and home baking will be served after the Sunday morning Mass with all proceeds going to The White Lily Fund, a charity founded by one of our own parishioners, Angela Bruno MBE.

St Nicholas' Primary PTA Christmas Fair

COP30 Climate Summit – Mass and Livestream

• Monday 10th November, 1.00p.m. St Andrew’s Cathedral, Glasgow.
• Hosted by the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland’s Care of Creation Office and supported by Justice & Peace Scotland, SCIAF, and SCES.
• This Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Nolan to pray for the success of the COP30 climate summit in Brazil.
• After Mass, join us for refreshments in Eyre Hall and a live video update from SCIAF’s Ben Wilson in Brazil.
• All are welcome.

 
Support Group for Catholic Women Affected by Separation and Divorce 

• The next meeting of our support group for women is Friday 14th November The Immaculate Conception Church Hall, Maryhill, from 6.00p.m. to 8.00p.m. 
• New members are welcome to this confidential support group, run for The Archdiocese of Glasgow by women who have come through this experience themselves.

AGAP Theatre National Tour: "Pilgrim of Hope"

• A solo comedy play inspired by the letter of Pope Francis for the Jubilee Year.
• Written and performed by Stephen Callaghan.
• Following great reviews at the Edinburgh Fringe, the production is touring parishes and schools.

#RedWednesday, 19th November

• Scottish Cathedrals will join Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) in celebrating Mass to remember Christians across the world who suffer for their faith.
• 80% of all religious persecution in the world is directed against Christians.
• Our brothers and sisters in Christ desperately need our prayers and support.

The Church Is Open

• Monday to Saturday until 5:00pm
• Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God.

Tea is served in the hut after daily Mass/Services

• Monday to Thursday.

• Collect donations every evening from M&S Milngavie and deliver to St Gregory’s, Wyndford Foodbank and Aspire West End which helps people get back on their feet.
