Christmas Masses. 
The Christmas Vigil 5:00 p.m.(live streamed) and 9:00 p.m.
Christmas Day Masses    10:00 a.m.(live streamed),  and 12:00 noon.
On Saturday 25th Dec and Saturday 1st Jan, there will be no 5:00 p.m. Vigil Mass.
New Year’s Day Mass – 10am.

Children's Liturgy - The weekly video of the Sunday's Gospel reading will continue to be available until 2nd January 2022 at: https://www.rpbooks.co.uk/celebrate-following-your-faith This has been an excellent resource for parents to use while the children’s liturgy hasn't been on.

Online Premiere - Mon 20th Dec 2021 at 6.00 p.m. AGAP Theatre "Sign of Contradiction: The Christmas Story" (Recorded live in 2018). Written & Directed by Stephen Callaghan.  
In a park in Glasgow, on a cold Christmas Eve night, a group of homeless people gather around an open fire to keep warm. Finding an old Bible in a rubbish heap, they are considering whether to burn it for fuel when a stranger appears and begins to take them through the story of Christmas in a way that they have never heard it before.

St Nicholas Care Fund. The projects funded are in the main to help children and young people, special needs’ groups and senior citizens. St Nicholas take home collection boxes available in the porch to be returned please by 16th Jan. Many thanks

Drumchapel food bank will be closed on several days during Christmas period. 
However, delivery will be made on the mornings of Wednesday 22nd Dec and Wednesday 29th Dec. We ask that donations are in by these dates.  Distribution returns to normal on the 5th January.  Thanks to all who contributed throughout this difficult year.
 
Primary Three First Confession Parents’ Meeting - 13th January 2022 at 7pm in St Andrew’s Hall.      First Confessions will be on Saturdays 12th & 19th March 10am – 11am. A date will be allocated to each family. 
 
Primary Four First Holy Communion Parents’ Meeting 20th January 2022 at 7pm in St Andrew’s Hall. First Holy Communion Masses will be on 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd May at 2pm. A date will be allocated to each family. 
 
Primary Seven Confirmation Parents’ Meeting – Thursday 3rd February 2022 at 7pm in St Andrew’s Hall. Confirmation Masses will be on 4th & 5th June at 2pm. A date will be allocated to each family.

Encounter ~ Listen ~ Discern.     Synod 2021 ~ 2023.   The Pope’s meeting with the world’s Bishops in 2023 will be to discuss ways of improving the process by which the Church on all levels is open to hearing the voices of people from all walks of life.    Keep your eye in our parish bulletin and our social media for arrangements for us getting involved in this. Over the next few months we will be asking as many people as possible in St Andrew’s to participate in this synodal process.

Public Consultation on Assisted Suicide - The Bishops’ Conference of Scotland, has encouraged Catholics to respond to the consultation and to “reject" the proposal. Drumchapel Foodbank. Regularly your donations are dropped off at the foodbank by our parish volunteers. Thanks for continuing to give the foodbank your support. Our soup-run volunteers continue to collect donations from M&S Byres Rd & Milngavie for delivery to Drumchapel & St Gregory’s Foodbanks, the Wayside Club & Aspire.
