Legion of Mary - Mother of Mercy Praesidium is recruiting this weekend for both active and (auxiliary prayer) members for the Legion of Mary in St Andrew's Parish. Member numbers are low at present for the important work undertaken on behalf of Fr Mackle and the parish. It would be lovely to welcome some new members to join us. We have a prayer meeting in the Hut every Monday at 5pm. Please think of joining and help with to help with Care Home visits to sick and elderly housebound parishioners, as well as visits to families who have had the celebration of a baptism or First Holy Communion.

To mark the Centenary of Catholic Education, Stephen McKinney, Professor of Education at the University of Glasgow, will give two talks on Thursdays 1st and 8th March 7pm - 8.30pm on “1918-2018: 100 years of Scottish Catholic School Education “. All are most welcome.

“Catholic Schools – Good for Scotland”.
Also, to mark the Centenary, there will be a Mass at 7pm this Wednesday at The Immaculate Conception for all former and present pupils and families and all past and present members of teaching and support staff of John Paul Academy.
