It was great the many suggestions we received from St Andrew's Primary school's Eco gardeners for a name for the Jubilee garden. They were all good. The one we have chosen is “Spirit of Peace”, and we're very grateful to Eco gardener, Evie, for suggesting this name. The garden's official opening will be on Friday, 19th May.
Vocations to the Priesthood initiative Pick up a copy of the Vocations leaflet from the porch. It is a good read of several young men who have discerned a vocation to the Priesthood.
Library Books We now have a very extensive range of library books covering a wide variety of religious topics. To make it easier for people to be able to see some of the books in the library, a selection of them will be placed on the table in the porch at the Masses this weekend. We would like to encourage you to have a look at the books. As Lent is coming up soon you might like to consider an extra bit of spiritual reading as one of your Lenten practices.
Please help the Passkeepers by leaving your hymn books and order of Mass cards tidily after Masses, and by taking your bulletin away with you. Many thanks.
