"Keep us, your children, born of water and the
spirit, faithful to our calling."

A very warm welcome to all the families, who over the past year have had a celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism, gathering together today for the 10am Mass for the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. After Mass, there will be refreshments served in the parish hall to which everyone is invited.

Please note that this is a week earlier than normal as we have decided to conjoin our usual coffee morning with the parish coffee morning for the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. This will be a FREE coffee morning. Thanks also to all who helped at or came along to December's Festive Teas. We are delighted to report that the sum of £155 was raised for The St Nicholas Care Fund. We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who are involved in helping in an way at the coffee mornings and to all those who come along and support them. It is very much appreciated and we couldn't do it without you all. Every best wish for 2016. Veronica and David Maguire.

Helpers Needed - Children’s Liturgy at the 10am Sunday Mass is for P1 - P7 Children. It is designed to cover the Gospel of the day at a level the children can understand and enjoy. It is enriched with prayers and usually a Gospel related activity. The aim is to make the children’s experience of church meaningful. P1 - P3 children gather in the upper hall, and P4 - P7 in the lower hall. If you are interested in helping out, please email Richard Hartley Richard.Hartley@glasgow.ac.uk

The Year of Mercy motto, Merciful Like the Father, (Luke 6:36) serves as an invitation to follow the merciful example of the Father who asks us not to judge or condemn but to forgive and to give love and forgiveness without measure. (see our banners in the porch and in both halls) Invite someone you know back to Mass. All of us know someone who has stopped going to Mass. Invite someone you know who no longer attends to return in this Year of Mercy.

RCIA – please keep in your prayers Jackie and Geoff Harrison who are journeying through the RCIA process of becoming Catholics this Easter.
