Caring Sunday ~ A second collection will be taken up this weekend for the St. Nicholas Care Fund, which ensures practical help where most needed. Please return Advent Caring Boxes by 15th January.

Christmas Day 10am (Children’s Choir) & 12noon

New Year's Eve – 5pm
New Year's Day - 10am & 12 noon
 
Advent Confessions in St Andrew’s 6pm – 7pm on Monday 19th December, ( as well as the usual Saturday and Sunday times) and in St Joseph’s at 2pm on Tuesday 20th December 
 
Advent reflection Evening in St Joseph’s - at 7pm Thursday 15 Dec. For anyone who requires transport, please enter your details on the sheet in the porch.
 
Festive Teas and Coffees -Sun 18th Dec.   Please join us for mince pies and tea/coffee/mulled wine in the Upper Hall  after 10am Mass. This month we will be raising funds for the St Nicholas Care Fund, (which helps so many different kinds of good causes).
Gifts for the homeless  ~ we are SO grateful for the incredibly generous donations of gifts for the homeless communities that St Andrew’s parish serves. The gifts will be taken this week by our volunteers to the centres that we visit  and will be very gratefully received before Christmas.   Many many thanks 🙏🙏

St. Andrew’s Whist Drive Christmas Party will take place on WEDNESDAY 14th December in the Lower Hall, from 2pm – 4:15pm. Tea and coffee and party food will be served. Entry £2. Looking forward to seeing everyone. New members always welcome.
 
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament – each Saturday from 10.00am until 11.00am with confessions throughout.Please consider coming to spend time in adoration and prayer.
 
Remember in your prayers – Gemma, Millie and Eleanor who are all journeying through RCIA to receive the Sacraments and become Catholic this Easter.
 
Archbishop Nolan will celebrate a “Month’s Mind” Mass for Archbishop Conti in St Andrew’s Cathedral on Thursday 22nd December at 1pm.  All are most welcome.
 
Drumchapel Foodbank-Holiday Closure   Last delivery before Christmas is Wed 21st Dec. Re-opens 28th/29th Dec for 2 days. Re-opens Wed 4th Jan. More than 30 bags were delivered in week ending Friday 2nd Dec. Many thanks for all donations this year.

To express our thanks for Monsignor Ryan’s 8 years’ faithful service, there will be a celebratory Mass and presentation at the 5pm Vigil next Sat 17th Dec. After Mass - buffet and bar / tea & coffee to which all are most welcome.   If you would like to contribute to a gift for Monsignor, there’s the opportunity via collection boxes in the porch.

The Church is looking to set up a network of counsellors for married couples in difficulty. If you are qualified as a counsellor and would be interested in completing some further training to work in this area, particularly here in Glasgow, please contact 07706 063936.

Drumchapel Foodbank. Regularly your donations are dropped off at the foodbank by our parish volunteers. Thanks for continuing to give the foodbank your support.   Our soup-run volunteers continue to collect donations from M&S, Byres Rd & Milngavie for delivery to Drumchapel & St Gregory’s Foodbanks, the Wayside Club & Aspire. 

Parish Bulletin: Items for inclusion should be sent in by 6 p.m. on the Tuesday before publication. Copies of the bulletin are available on Facebook, Twitter, the parish website and the noticeboard in the Church porch.
The bulletin is also emailed to many of our parishioners every Sunday morning. If you do not currently receive it by email and would like to, please complete this form.
