Family Service—In preparation for Confirmation—For the candidates, parents, sponsors—at the church on Thursday 6th October at 7.30 p.m.
Sacrament of Confirmation—Wednesday 9th November at 7.30 p.m. (Group1) and Thursday 17th November at 7.30 p.m. (Group 2). The school will arrange the groups later.
First Communion and Confirmation—Parents meeting on Thursday 27th October at 7.30 p.m. at the Upper Hall.
First Communion Dates—6th, 13th and 20th May at 10.00 a.m. and 12.00 noon Masses—To be arranged at the meeting on 27th October.
25th Anniversary of Opening of The Church—The church building will be 25 years young in March 2012. To mark this milestone, the Parish Pastoral Council is arranging a series of events from September to June that will hopefully appeal to all members of the parish. These will include events for all age groups, and will include liturgical and social events. The events up to Christmas will be:

Pasta Night—1st October 2011—A pasta evening has been kindly organised by parishioners as part of the church building’s 25th anniversary celebrations. The evening will take the form of a dinner dance with bar on Saturday 1st October in the Upper Hall. The evening will commence at 7.30 p.m. and finish at 11.30 p.m. All proceeds will go to church fund and help to underwrite other anniversary events. Tickets, priced at £15.00 are available from Angela Bruno (942 7879) or Collette Shevlane (942-9854). In previous years, this has been a well attended and most enjoyable evening, so please book your ticket early to avoid disappointment.
Altar Servers—Any young member of the Parish (who has made his/her First Holy Communion) who would like to become an Altar Server is invited to contact Chris Sanders (942 7519) or Father Donnelly, who will gladly take your details. Training sessions are due to commence soon.
