"Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come."

As from Monday 20th June, the church will open Monday to Friday until 5pm, and on Saturday until the 5pm vigil. Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet, and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God. Teas / coffees are served in the Hut after daily Mass. All most welcome.

A huge amount of thanks to all who were involved in helping with last Sunday’s  First Communicants Thanksgiving Mass and fabulous Party in the hall afterwards. Huge thanks, too, to all who helped look after last weekend's Confirmation Masses and all the preparations for them. There are still some certificates to be collected from the sacristy. The first lunch  September ie 13th Sept ~ so that’s one for the diary! In the meantime please give the proposed Lunch club your sincere consideration and help make it a happy friendly place to meet up with old and new friends. Fr John Campbell, Diocesan Synod Coordinator, has written to all parishes thanking them for their hard work in engaging in the Synod process, with a particular thanks to all Deans for all their extra work in synthesising the deaneries’ responses. The Diocesan Synod Team’s Response will be presented to Archbishop Nolan in the Cathedral at 7pm on Sunday 19th June during Evening Prayer. Hopefully, many from our parish will be free to attend. Details of our parish’s and deanery’s responses will be published soon.

Laudato Si’ - The destruction of the human environment is extremely serious, not only because God has entrusted the world to us men and women, but because human life is itself a gift which must be defended from various forms of debasement. Every effort to protect and improve our world entails profound changes in “lifestyles, models of production and consumption, and the established structures of power which today govern societies” (#5)
