Forty Hours Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament this weekend. Pop in for some quiet prayer time. Call in for a heart to heart with God.
Sunday 12th  March. Evening Prayer 5pm. Night Prayer 9pm.
Monday, 13th March Holy Hour 7pm. Confessions throughout. Night Prayer 9pm.
Tuesday, 14th March Holy Hour 7pm Confessions throughout. Night Prayer  9pm. 
 
Lenten Stations of the Cross ~ Fridays at 6pm. Church open daily until 5pm.
 
Adoration for Lent: Do come and spend some time each week to be still before God at our Saturday Adoration. If shopping at the cross, or out for a coffee, pop in to St Andrew's for some quiet prayer. Have a heart to heart with God each Saturday during Lent from 10am until 11am , with Confessions throughout. Sunday Confessions will be from 9.15am until 9.45am.
 
As a parish community, we are looking forward to Primary Three’s celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation (First Confession), on Saturday 25th March between 10 am and 11am. Fr Currie will be assisting with Confessions, which will be at the altar area. Family members are encouraged to take the opportunity, too, for Confession, which is always a good thing to do, especially during Lent.

Sincere thanks to the Hut Ladies for their generous gift of £200 for Drumchapel Foodbank, raised from coffee mornings. Teas / coffees served after Mass Mon to Thurs. All most welcome. 
Coffee Morning— Sunday, 19th March.
Please come along and join us in the upper hall, after 10 am Mass, for tea, coffee and some delicious home baking. This month we are raising funds for SCIAF’s Ukraine Emergency Appeal. Last month we donated £307.50 to Fr Mathew Paramoottil’s
parish school in India. Thank you for your generosity.

Huge Congratulations 🥳🥳👏👏👏👏 to Lola Kennedy and Hannah Quinn, who have been successful in passing their Caritas Award.  Caritas marker praised both highly for the quality of their responses and their volunteering work. They will join hundreds of young people from across Scotland on 6th June at the Clyde Auditorium to be presented with the Caritas Award.

Easter Reachout - a huge thanks to our Messengers for collecting their bundles to deliver to around 1300 homes. Sincere thanks to the Editorial Team, Messengers, Area Leaders, Messenger Coordinators and Data base manager for their dedicated efforts. If Reachout is not delivered to your home, and you would like to receive a copy, please email [email protected]. 
 
The statue of St. Michael the Archangel which is making its pilgrim way around parishes in Scotland will be with us from 22nd until 29th March. There will be a chance to pray before the statue, asking the intercession of the holy archangel, and placing our written petitions which will be remembered in the Masses celebrated while the statue is with us. 
 
Washing of the Feet – Volunteers required to have their feet washed at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper 7pm Thurs 6 April. Please enter your name on the sign-up sheet in the porch.
 
2nd Collection during Lent is taken up to support our sick and retired priests. On 4th Sunday, the collection will be exclusively for SCIAF. Wee boxes available in the porch.

Legion of Mary meets on Tuesdays 7pm - 8.30pm New members always welcome. If you are interested in being part of the Legion’s work and would like further information, please contact Fr. Mackle or [email protected],
 
The Befriending Service for adults provides social support by way of chatting: by phone, in groups or with one volunteer. It has social events and a new service for school children. Anyone who needs the service or wants to volunteer can chat with Brian or Alyson at the coffee morning next  Sunday 19th March.

Parish Bulletin: Items for inclusion should be sent in by 6 p.m. on the Tuesday before publication. Copies of the bulletin are available on Facebook, Twitter, the parish website/by email link (to all those on the Parish database) and on the noticeboards in the Church porch and the Church grounds.

Drumchapel Foodbank. Your donations are dropped off at the foodbank by our parish volunteers. Thanks for continuing to give the foodbank your support.

Our soup-run volunteers continue to collect donations each night from M&S for delivery to Drumchapel & St Gregory’s Foodbanks, the Wayside Club & Aspire.
