The obligation to attend Mass on Sundays will be restored on 6th March – start of Lent. We should see this as an opportunity to come together again as a community of faith to listen to the Word of God and be nourished by the body of Christ ~ food for the journey. As always, the obligation does not apply to those who are sick and their carers or to those aware of their greater vulnerability to the virus. Come back to Mass! Invite and encourage family members, friends, fellow parishioners to come back with you. With many of the restrictions having been eased, it would be good to have more and more people coming back to Mass.
