Thanksgiving Celebration for all the First Communicants—Because of the Queens Jubilee Holiday—please note the change of date—the children’s thanksgiving celebration will now take place at 10.00 a.m. Mass on Saturday 26th May (at which the First Communion Certificates will be distributed) followed by a party in the Upper Hall.
Andrea Kearney Fund—Tickets are available for the Andrea Kearney Fund Dinner—In the Radisson Hotel, Glasgow on Saturday 19th May 2012 at 7.00 p.m. This charity is the only one in the UK which offers financial help to women diagnosed with cancer during pregnancy. The ticket price of £55.00 includes drinks on arrival, a delicious 3-course meal with wine, entertainment from some of Scotland’s most talented singers/musicians, a DJ set with dancing, and plenty of opportunities to bid in the auction or win raffle prizes. Papal World Day of Prayer for Communications—For the Church’s Apostolate in the media and for all who seek to promote it—on Saturday/Sunday 19th/20th May. Special second collections for the Communications Fund.
Parish Family Walk—As part of our ongoing 25th Celebrations, you are invited to come along and join our family parish walk on Sunday 10th June. We will meet at 1pm at the Visitors Centre, Mugdock Country Park. Please bring your own picnic. The walk will take about 3 hours in total (i.e. there and back) with a break at the half way stage for a rest and a picnic. Interested in life as a diocesan priest ? - A retreat is taking place for those who wish to find out more about life as a diocesan priest. This event is offered without obligation or commitment from participants. It will give the opportunity to talk about becoming a diocesan priest in the company of priests, other enquirers and candidates for seminary. There is no charge for this event.
