Thank you very much.
This week we say farewell to Monsignor Ryan, who has very faithfully served in St Andrew's for the past eight years. We're grateful to Monsignor for his good pastoral care and much appreciated spiritual guidance over the years. Our prayers and good wishes go with Monsignor with his move to St Patrick's, Dumbarton. We'll miss him.

Advent Appeal 3rd / 4th Dec Soup Run – Christmas Gifts – Our soup run volunteers continue to deliver supermarket surplus each day to organisations including St Gregory’s, Wyndford. Our intention this year is to give Christmas gifts to centres including the Wayside and Aspire for distribution to the homeless. Help needed to make this happen, please. If you would like to help can you please either provide all items listed below in a gift bag into box in porch. A hand written Christmas card, small selection box or pack of chocolates, hat, gloves, scarf, underwear, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrush and ladies gifts to include sanitary products. Or provide any of the items on the list straight into separate bag provided.  Many thanks for your support - Veronica McLaughlin and volunteers

On Saturday 12 November at 6pm after the Vigil Mass, we have arranged a screening in the hall of a recently released film called "The Letter". This beautiful film was commissioned by the Laudato Si' Movement and supports the spirit of Pope Francis' encyclical on caring for our common home. Indigenous peoples, scientists, refugees and the youth of the world are represented movingly and honestly in a way that makes it very difficult to do nothing.
Teas/coffees will be available and our gathering should be finished around 8.15. (NB - It is suggested that the film is most suitable for anyone aged 14 or over.)
Please, please spare a couple of hours to understand more fully the Pope's message for everyone on our planet.
