Pope Francis’ practice is then to ask the Nuncio to bestow the Pallium on the new Archbishop in his Cathedral. All are most welcome to attend this Mass on this historic day for our Archdiocese

This will be similar to pre-pandemic years, with a selection of parish charities at the event. Could parishioners who would like to host a stall please contact either Anne MacIntosh (931 5861) or Annamaria Strachan (942 9799) before Sunday 30th October to confirm. All profits from the Piety Stall go to Church funds.
Piety Stall rota ~ Sincere thanks to everyone who regularly volunteers to assist with running the stall, it’s been a huge help with reopening it after the pandemic. The rota sheet for October, November and December is on the door of the Piety Stall. We are particularly short of volunteers for the 10am Sunday morning Mass – if you could sometimes spare 15 minutes after this Mass to help, we’d be most grateful. Please note, you don’t have to commit to volunteering every week, helping occasionally when it suits you would be most appreciated.
Any questions please call Anne MacIntosh 931-5861 or Annamaria Strachan 942-9799.

SVDP - The parishioners of St Andrew’s have always been very generous in their support for the SVDP, even during the Covid suspension of collections. Given the more relaxed conditions at Masses and the issues that have been raised recently during Challenge Poverty Week, and that the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty occurs on Monday 17th October, it has been decided to restart SVDP collections after the Vigil and Sunday Masses this weekend.
