Parish visit to Iona It’s proposed to hold another parish visit to Iona from Friday 24th May - Sunday 26th May 2019.A brief draft itinerary is on the noticeboard at the back of the church along with booking forms. If you’d like to book a place, please complete and put in envelope with cheque for £80 through parish house door before 1st October.Places and room allocation will be on the basisforms and deposits received. The visit will not be confirmed until there are sufficient numbersdeposits will be returned if necessary.
We are looking for people to join the youth ministry team. The team meets a few times a year and looks after the preparations and organisation of parish youth events. If you would like to get involved, please contact Fr Mackle or one of the members of the team. We are always looking for ideas as well for youth events. This year we will be running the evening as a fundraiser for SAMH (the Scottish Association for Mental Health).prizes will be gratefully received nearer the time. St Nicholas’ Primary – Official Opening Ceremony - 3rd Oct at 7pm in the school for invited guests only. Mass will be celebrated in the school on 1st Nov at 11am, with the blessing of the St Nicholas candles. Archbishop Tartaglia will be visiting the school on 6th Dec for Mass and the Blessing of the School. For both Masses, assembly hall space allows for pupils and staff only. First Friday Masses will now alternate between the two parishes. Next 1st Fri Mass in St Andrew’s – 5th Oct at 10am.
