Altar Servers’ Awards. Four Servers are due to be enrolled officially into the Archconfraternity of St. Stephen (Thomas Gibbons at the Vigil Mass and Antony Sheridan, Peter Docherty and Ewan Kennedy at the 10am Mass on Sunday 17th December). Each will receive the familiar bronze medal on a red cord, as they have demonstrated, by assisting at Mass regularly for over two years, their commitment to their parish ministry by serving at the Altar. At the same time, acknowledgement of long-standing service is also being made to Eva Pryce, David Docherty and Katie Sheridan who have both served faithfully for over five years, this recognition being marked by exchanging their red cords for yellow cords. Well done and congratulations to all concerned. We are very fortunate at St. Andrew’s to have a number of good and committed Servers.
