If you would like to be involved in the Vigil Mass ministries, eg. reading, passkeeping, serving, music etc please give your names to Fr. Mackle. Gather at 5.30pm for ice-breaker. Mass will be followed with a short retreat and will finish with pizza in the hall.
Annual Mission Sunday Appeal at all Masses this weekend. Passion for Christ – Passion for People - Those who Giftaid, please use a giftaid Mission Appeal envelope from the porch and add 25% of the value of your offering at no extra cost to yourself.
A talk on Pope Francis, the Synod, Family Life and Evangelisation will be given by Bishop John Keenan, Bishop of Paisley, in the Upper Hall at 7:00pm on Thursday 29th October 2015. Bishop John's talk, which is part of our parish's Adult Faith Formation programme, will begin with tea and coffee and there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards.

Parish Clustering Plan - encouraging parishes to share resources and talents and work together to evangelise. This is a three year programme, which you will hear much about in the future. The proposal is that St Andrew’s be clustered with St Joseph's. Our PPC will meet on 5th Nov to discuss this. Parishioners comments welcome – please email Tricia Carroll [email protected] . Mass of Commitment for Primary Three families will be at the 10am Mass next Sunday 25th October. Parents should have by now completed an enrolment form.

Padre Pio Prayer Group. Next meeting will be this Monday 19th October at 7:00pm. Holy Mass is scheduled for 7.30pm.
During a special ceremony called Institution of Lector, Nick Pryce will take the next step toward becoming a Permanent Deacon. All are invited to this ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, 15th November at 12noon Mass in St Andrew's, Cathedral. Keep Nick in your prayers.
Mass for the Dead of the Past Year – takes place on Sunday 8th November at 10am Mass. The families of those who have lost a loved one over the past year have been invited but, of course, everyone is welcome who wishes to pray for those whom they have lost. Refreshments will be served in the hall after Mass.
The parish would like to form a parish visitation group to visit families whose children are enrolling for the sacraments. If you are interested and would like to become involved in this group and pastoral work, please see Fr Mackle.
