Tea & Coffee – After 10am Mass on Sunday 19th August.  All donations of home baking appreciated. (no nuts).  Please just hand in to the Upper Hall on the morning of the 19th.  Thank you.

Pro-Life Rosary – There will be a Rosary said in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel on Wednesday 22nd August at 7pm for an end to abortion.  All Welcome.

40 Hours Adoration – In St. Patrick’s, Old Kilpatrick on 30th September 2012.

R.C.I.A. (The Rite for the Initiation of Adults) for those intending to become Catholics, or who are interested in enquiring – the first meting of the new session will take place at the Hut on Wednesday, 26th September at 7.00 p.m.  For further information, contact Father Donnelly, or Margaret Barton 563 9043.

Parish Pilgrimage to Florence and Italy – Mass for the group at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel – Tuesday 28th August at 6/30 p.m. followed by the final meeting at the Lower Hall.

St. Pio Prayer Group – To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Group.  Please join us at our celebration Mass on Saturday 1st September 2012 at 6.00 p.m. here at St. Andrews.

Justice and Peace:  Fairtrade Chocolate – For a number of years it has been possible to buy Fairtrade chocolate from specialist suppliers and shops.   However, it is becoming easier to choose Fairtrade as supermarkets and high street shops are also now selling Fairtrade chocolate made by major manufacturers such as Cadburys, Nestle and the Co-operative, amongst others – look out for the Fairtrade mark.  Buying Fairtrade chocolate  not only gives a fair deal to cocoa producers but also ensures we do not unwittingly support the inappropriate use of child labour in cocoa production in West Africa.

The Beginning Experience – Are holding a weekend for those who find themselves alone again through divorce, separation or bereavement.  This weekend will take place from 12th – 14th October 2012 at Xaverian Centre, Coatbridge.  For details contact:  Ros on 0131 669 0003 or e-mail [email protected].
