Before receiving Holy Communion, we are asked to make some preparatory act of reverence such as a bow. Interested in becoming a Catholic?– Not baptised? Baptised in another faith? RCIA will begin in the autumn. The programme of learning and instruction prepares adults for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Please speak to Fr. Synod Update ~ The Diocesan Synod Team’s Report will be presented to Archbishop Nolan in the Cathedral at 7pm this evening (Sunday) during Evening Prayer. All most welcome. As from 27th June, the church will open Monday to Friday until 5pm, and on Saturday until the 5pm vigil. Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet, and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God. Teas / coffees are served in the Hut after daily Mass. All most welcome. SPRED. We currently have the highest numbers of displaced people in human history, and the causes, war, persecution, extreme poverty and the climate crisis remain unaddressed.
