Adoration for Vocations - On the first Saturday of each month, starting Saturday 7th January, prayers will be offered for an increase in vocations to the priesthood, consecrated life and the permanent diaconate during the usual Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 10.00am till 11.00am.  Please consider coming to spend time in adoration and prayer.

A number of parishioners are involved in the ministry of taking communion to the sick in our parish.  As we have an increasing number of parishioners who have become housebound, especially since the pandemic lockdown, if you are an Extraordinary Minister and would like to help with taking holy communion to one or two parishioners not able to get to Mass, please contact  Deacon Tommy    [email protected]    Many thanks.

Many will have fond memories of Pope Benedict’s UK visit in 2010, especially his visit to Glasgow - the fun of jumping on and off corpie buses to get there, and sitting all layered up enjoying pre Mass picnics in the lovely September sunshine of Bellahouston Park.
When Pope Benedict met with the Big Assembly of young people, including senior pupils from schools within the Archdiocese of Glasgow, he said -
"Dear friends, I thank you for your attention, I promise to pray for you and I ask you to pray for me".
We pray that Pope Benedict’s loving soul may know eternal rest and the fullness of joy.
