Once again, many congratulations to Father Frank Trias CP.(gallery on this link) His ordination last Saturday in St Mungo's was such a joyful, moving and uplifting occasion. It was a great joy too and a delight for our parish community to have Fr Frank celebrating his “First Mass of Thanksgiving” last Sunday morning at St Andrew’s. Fr Frank has been appointed to serve at Mount Argus Parish Passionist community in Dublin, and we wish him every happiness in his first appointment, and in the years ahead serving the people of God. We are very grateful to Father for his kind gift to the parish of a first class relic of St Charles of Mount Argus, from whose powerful intercession we pray we may benefit. Let us continue to pray for vocations - for more priests. And a very sincere thanks to all those who helped organise last Sunday’s First Mass (it was great to see a full church) and for the wonderful reception in the hall afterwards. A most enjoyable time was had by all last weekend.
Please let us know if you are a Caritas or Duke of Edinburgh pupil. We would like to compile a list for the Easter Reachout along with a feature on the World Youth Day candidates.
