We look forward to extending a very warm welcome to Archbishop Nolan, who will be with us for all the Masses next weekend.
We said farewell to Monsignor Ryan last week as he prepared to take up his new appointment in St Patrick’s, Dumbarton. We will, however, have a Mass of thanksgiving for him and a presentation which will be arranged as soon as possible.

Catholic Social Teaching Thought for the Week - The church would betray its own love for God and its fidelity to the gospel if it stopped being . . . a defender of the rights of the poor . . . a humaniser of every legitimate struggle to achieve a more just society . . . that prepares the way for the true reign of God in history.Saint Óscar Romero
World Toilet Day - 19th November - How often do we count our blessings like having a toilet, an everyday essential that millions of people still don’t have? 1.7 billion people don’t have somewhere safe and hygienic to go to the toilet. In Ivory Coast, more than three-quarters of the population lacks a loo. But toilet twinning can transform lives. It’s simple, its fun but it's also really, really important. Our church has recently twinned its 4 toilets with 1 each in Afghanistan, Cote d’Ivoire, Honduras and DRC. To find out more and get twinning, visit www.toilettwinning.org
