"I am the good shepherd,
and I know mine and mine know me,
just as the Father knows me and I know the Father;
and I will lay down my life for the sheep."

With all good wishes for the Easter Season. “The spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you”.

We are seeking volunteers to lead the Rosary each Sunday in May at 4.30p.m. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Ann Colraine on [email protected]

Catholic Social Teaching Thought for the Week – 21st April 2024
Christ gave His life to redeem the world. The life of Christ was a life of sacrifice. The life of a Christian must be a life of sacrifice. We cannot imitate the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary by trying to get all we can. We can only imitate the sacrifice of Christ on Calvary by trying to give all we can. Peter Maurin

Laudato Si’ – On Care for our Common Home - In our time, the Church does not simply state that other creatures are completely subordinated to the good of human beings, as if they have no worth in themselves and can be treated as we wish. The German bishops have taught that, where other creatures are concerned, “we can speak of the priority of being over that of being useful”. (#69)

Ecclesiastical Students second collection – There will be a second collection at all the Masses this weekend for the Ecclesiastical Students.

Coffee Morning - Please join us in the Upper Hall this Sunday after 10a.m. Mass for tea, coffee and some delicious home baking. This month we are raising funds for The Paul O’Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre in Glasgow.

Monday April 22 is Earth Day and is a reminder of the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability, encouraging us to come together and take action for a healthier planet and brighter future. This year’s theme is ‘Planet v Plastics’.   Let's unite in our efforts to protect the Earth today and for generations to come. Learn more and explore action to be taken on:- https://www.earthday.org/earth-day-2024/
