We look forward to welcoming our Legion of Mary guests from Ireland who will be joining us next month (24th– 31st August) for the Pilgrimage for Christ - Peregrinatio week. Each host home will be contacted soon regarding their guest. We still need more volunteers to help with midday meals - please see notice below).
The Legion of Mary will be doing "door to door"visiting, in pairs, as many homes as is possible in the Bearsden area, chatting with people, speaking about the faith, and extending an invitation to the Mass and buffet supper on the final evening - Friday 30th August at 7pm. Please keep this week in your prayers that it will be successful and fruitful.

The US-based Word on Fire Institute, founded by Bishop Robert Barron, provides tools for laypeople to become Catholic evangelists. Men, women and children fall into the hands of traffickers both in their own countries and abroad. Every country in the world is affected by human trafficking, whether as a country of origin, transit or destination for victims. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament –Saturdays -10.30am until 12.30pm. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is, perhaps, the best way to enter into prayer and draw closer to Jesus outside of Holy Mass. Adoration is sitting quietly before the real presence of Christ, who hears us and who sees us. Consider coming to spend time in adoration and prayer each Saturday.
We would like to have a number of adorers for each half hour, to ensure that the Blessed Sacrament is never left unattended.
