Turnbull Ethics—New Approaches to Student Pro-Life and Social Justice—Tuesday 6th November at 7.15 p.m. See notice in the porch of the Church Bearsden Literary Society—The Bearsden Literary Society meets in the Lower Hall, every second Monday at 7.45 p.m. Their next meeting is on 22nd Oct and is a talk by the authority Alex Gray, a prize winning crime writer from Glasgow. Commemoration of the Faithful Department—Nov. 2nd 10.00 a.m. & 7.00 p.m. This year is planned to mark the above feast by a reading of the names of deceased relatives and friends during the last year, Nov 2011—Nov 2012. This will take place during the lighting of candles. You are invited to give the name of a deceased family member or friend by completing a slip which is available in the church porch.
