Piety Stall ~ Could you occasionally help with serving in the Piety Stall ? We are particularly short of volunteers for the 10am Sunday morning Mass – if you could sometimes spare 10 minutes after this Mass to help, we’d be most grateful.  The rota sheet for January, February and March is on the door of the Piety Stall.
Meantime, our sincere thanks to everyone who regularly volunteers to assist with running the stall.  Any questions please call Anne MacIntosh 931-5861 or Annamaria Strachan 942-9799.

Laudato Si’ - On Care for our Common Home - In the protection of biodiversity, specialists insist on the need for particular attention to be shown to areas richer both in the number of species and in endemic, rare or less protected species. Certain places need greater protection because of their immense importance for the global ecosystem, or because they represent important water reserves and thus safeguard other forms of life. (#37)

St. Andrew’s Whist Drive will resume on January 25th in the Lower Hall, from 2pm – 4:15pm. To welcome everyone back after New Year and to celebrate Burn’s Day, tea, coffee and party food will be served. Entry £2. Looking forward to seeing everyone. New members always welcome.

Charity New Ways works with the local  community to support essential infrastructure and education projects around Turkana. Their lovely calanders didn't arrive in time for our Christmas sale but feel free to take one from the porch this weekend and offer a prayer for those in need

The statue of St. Michael the Archangel which is making its pilgrim way around parishes in Scotland will be with us from 22nd until 29th March. There will be a chance to pray before the statue, asking the intercession of the holy archangel, and placing our written petitions which will be remembered in the Masses celebrated while the statue is with us.
