Frank Trias CP will be ordained on Sat, 12th Dec at 11am Mass in St Mungo’s, and celebrate his Mass of Thanksgiving here in St Andrew's at 10am on Sun, 13th Dec. All are invited to both Masses. Keep Frank in your prayers these weeks as he prepares for Ordination. Please note, there will be no 10am Mass and Confessions on Sat, 12th Dec, and no 12noon Mass on Sun 13th Dec.
Our parish SPRED group will be leading the Liturgy at the 12noon Mass on Sunday 6th December. Please come and join us at our special Mass, and afterwards in the Upper Hall for tea/coffee and chat.

Thank you - We received a lovely letter from Mary’s meals thanking us for the fabulous sum of £2,261 donated to their Feed Our Future appeal. As the sum raised is eligible for the UK Aid Match scheme, Mary’s meals will benefit to a total value of a £4,522 which will make a huge difference. The letter is displayed on the notice board in the porch. Many thanks for your generosity.
Remember the Dead—The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is being offered up every day during the month of November for the Holy Souls. Remembering the souls of the faithful departed, and praying for them is a “holy and wholesome thought.”

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and supported this year’s Christmas Fair last Sunday. Sincere thanks also to Veronica Maguire and the fabulous team who helped with serving the teas and coffees, to the providers of the home baking, to those who helped us set up and put away all of the tables and chairs and to everyone who helped us serve in the stall – we are extremely grateful to you all for your assistance. Christmas Soup Run will be on Friday 11th Dec taking hot drinks and mince pies on our visit to the gentlemen at the Bellgrove Hotel. We also hope to take Christmas parcels of toiletries, underwear, socks, books and sweets - 60 parcels hopefully! Your donations will be gratefully received. If parcels could be wrapped and labelled with contents that would be very helpful. Please place in box in the porch. The folk group will provide a Carol service which is always appreciated. We will be represented at Sign Up Sunday; if you wish any more information just ask. Any excess food or gifts will be distributed to local charities in Glasgow. e.g. Maryhill Foodbank or the Wayside Club. Many thanks for your wonderful support throughout the year.
