SPRED (Special Religious Development) has been part of the pastoral and catechetical life of the Archdiocese since 1984. Our parish group is a small community of faith meeting on Wednesday evenings during school term from September to May. We would welcome new volunteers to become companions in faith to our friends who have a learning disability and help them take their rightful place within the parish community. A series of three introductory evenings for new volunteers starts on Tues 9th September. Why not come along to the first one and give it a try - there's no commitment at this stage. More information on the SPRED website - www.spred.org.uk - or from Catherine (942 6984) or Lorna (942 0696)
