"Repent, says the Lord, for the
kingdom of heaven is close at hand."
This Sunday 24th January is Homeless Sunday, jointly organised by Scottish Churches Housing action and registered charity Housing justice. The initiative brings together hundreds of churches across many faiths. Its purpose is to show concern for individuals affected by homelessness, raise awareness of the conditions that create it and help us think about anything we can do to help tackle the problem. How you can help.... For the next two weeks, you'll see a box at the back of the church where you can leave donations of new toiletries, scarves, gloves, hats and socks for ladies and gents. These will be distributed across a number of hostels in Glasgow. You'll also see prayer cards which we'd ask you to take away with you.
Many thanks St Andrew’s J&P group.
