A talk on Pope Francis, the Synod, Family Life and Evangelisation will be given by Bishop John Keenan, Bishop of Paisley, in the Upper Hall at 7:00pm this Thursday 29th October 2015. Bishop John's talk, which is part of our parish's Adult Faith Formation programme, will begin with tea and coffee and there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards.

Parish Clustering Plan - encouraging parishes to share resources and talents and work together to evangelise. This is a three year programme, which you will hear much about in the future. The proposal is that St Andrew’s be clustered with St Joseph's. Our PPC will meet on 5th Nov to discuss this. LEPRA Appeal. A representative from LEPRA, the charity which does so much work for sufferers with leprosy, will make an appeal at the end of all Masses next weekend, 31 Oct / 1 Nov. Please see the LEPRA poster in the church for more details.

During a special ceremony called Institution of Lector, Nick Pryce will take the next step toward becoming a Permanent Deacon. All are invited to this ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, 15th November at 12noon Mass in St Andrew's, Cathedral. Keep Nick in your prayers.
Holy Souls Day – 2nd Nov. As well as Mass at 10am, there will be an evening Mass at 7pm.
Mass for the Dead of the Past Year – takes place on Sunday 8th November at 10am Mass. The families of those who have lost a loved one over the past year have been invited but, of course, everyone is welcome who wishes to pray for those whom they have lost. Refreshments will be served in the hall after Mass.
