The Kirkin of the New East Dunbarton Council—will take place here at St. Andrew’s at 12noon Mass on Sunday 2nd September followed by a reception in the Upper Hall. All welcome.
Year of Faith: - In today’s Gospel Peter says, “We believe”. Pope Benedict reminds us that “Only through believing, then, does faith grow and become stronger.” (PF7) How can we make the Year of Faith a time for our faith to grow and become stronger?
R.C.I.A. (The Rite for the Christian Initiation of Adults) for those intending to become Catholics, or who are interested in enquiring – the first meting of the new session will take place at the Hut on Wednesday, 26th September at 7.00 p.m. For further information, contact Father Donnelly, or Margaret Barton 563 9043.

Parish Pilgrimage to Florence and Italy – Mass for the group at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel – Tuesday 28th August at 6/30 p.m. followed by the final meeting at the Lower Hall.
St. Pio Prayer Group – To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Group. Please join us at our celebration Mass on Saturday 1st September 2012 at 6.00 p.m. here at St. Andrews.

Mary’s Meals—Following our 25th anniversary celebration events of last session we have been able to send a cheque for £1000 to Mary’s Meals. Many thanks to all who worked so hard in organising our many and varied events and to all who participated.
Italian Classes—A new season of Saturday morning Italian classes for children, SQA students and adults is about to begin. The classes will be held in Notre Dame High School, Glasgow at 10am from Saturday 8th September.

The Way Ahead Group (a Stroke Club for the Local Community) - Club meetings recommence for the autumn session on Thursday 6th September. Members meet every Thursday in Killermont Church Hall from 1.15pm until 3.45pm for a social get-together, physiotherapy, games and tea. The Committee is now finalising Club activities for Autumn/Winter 2012 and planning our Christmas Party. If anyone is interested in helping/driving one Thursday afternoon each month, please contact Anne Wightman 942 4052 or Mary Munro 942 7961.
