Annual Crib Donations are vital for the running of St Margaret's as the UK's only Catholic adoption agency. St Margaret's aims to ensure that every child has the right to grow up in a safe, loving and secure family environment.

Advent Reflection Evening – A huge amount of thanks to all in St Andrew’s & St Joseph’s Youth Ministry Team who helped look after all the arrangements and preparations for last week’s wonderful Advent Evening ~ and it was great seeing such a good turnout of folk.
A special thanks to all who were involved in the Service in various ways, especially those from the groups and organisations in both parishes who read. And to all the PFFA pupils and all the young people who read ~ a massive big thanks. Well done! Next event for St Andrew’s and St Joseph’s will be with NET Ministry who will be visiting us in February. Details going out in the new year. Fingers crossed that can go ahead!
The Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord is 8th Jan. I’ll be getting in touch with all families who have had a celebration of Baptism within the past year to see if they would like to come along to our 10am Mass or, in these circumstances, they might prefer to participate in the Mass online. After Mass, there would normally be refreshments served in the parish hall, but, unfortunately, not this year, for obvious reasons.

Drumchapel food bank will be closed on several days during Christmas period.
However, delivery will be made on Wednesday 29th Dec. We ask that donations are in then. Distribution returns to normal on the 5th January. Thanks to all who contributed throughout this difficult year.
Primary Three First Confession Parents’ Meeting - 13th January 2022 at 7pm in St Andrew’s Hall. First Confessions will be on Saturdays 12th & 19th March 10am – 11am. A date will be allocated to each family.

Catholic Social Teaching Thought for the Week – 26th December (World Day of Prayer for Peace is observed on 1st January) We must restore hope to young people, help the old, be open to the future, spread love. Encounter ~ Listen ~ Discern. Synod 2021 ~ 2023. The Pope’s meeting with the world’s Bishops in 2023 will be to discuss ways of improving the process by which the Church on all levels is open to hearing the voices of people from all walks of life. Keep your eye in our parish bulletin and our social media for arrangements for us getting involved in this. Over the next few months we will be asking as many people as possible in St Andrew’s to participate in this synodal process.
