Cancer Support Scotland (Tak Tent) is a small charity based in the grounds of the Gartnavel and we are keen to spread awareness of our services within the Bearsden community.  We offer an inspirational talk service, a wide range of fundraising activities, and we have lots of volunteering opportunities for all ages from helping at our events, bag packs, bucket collections, meeting and greeting at our Centre and so on. We’re looking for community champions to come together and form a Community Fundraising Group to spread awareness and raise funds for our services. We offer free, one-to-one services which include counselling, chiropody and complementary therapies such as massage, reiki and reflexology. As we don’t receive any funding from the government or lottery we rely on the generosity of those in the local community. You can find out more about our services and see testimonials at www.cancersupportscotland.org. See poster in porch for more details and information or contact Kirsty Nimmo on 0141 337 8199
