“Let The Children Live” - Coffee Morning
St Joseph’s Justice and Peace Group are holding a fund-raising coffee morning in St Joseph’s church hall (opposite Milngavie train station) on Saturday 12th May from 10am to 2pm in aid of this charity’s support for the desperate plight of the street children of Colombia, living on dumps, treated as throwaways, killed at random. The charity is a last refuge for these children but is currently in dire financial straits, forced into drastic cutbacks in their vital work. Last year our coffee morning raised well over £1200 for these children.  Please help us to let the children live! Tickets available at the door. Adults £3.50; children 50p. (Unlimited tea, coffee and cakes!)

Soup Run- The next soup run will on Friday 4th May 2012.  Donations taken at the lower hall from 7.00 pm.  Soup, sandwiches, soft fruit, biscuits etc most welcome.  Any queries please call Phyllis 0141 570 1343.  Many thanks as always.
