St Andrew’s Celebration Music and Quiz Night - Saturday 25 November
Please come along to share an evening with some of the parish’s talented musicians as we celebrate the feast of our patron, St Andrew. There will also be a chance to show off your knowledge of all things Scottish in a quiz with rounds on music, sport, geography, history and famous Scots. We are nearing the end of our Jubilee Celebrations so, even if you have not been able to attend any of the other events, please take this opportunity to come together for a light-hearted evening of fun. A huge thanks to everyone who helped with last Thursday’s P6’s retreat day here in the parish. We are very thankful to Sr Bernie, Sr Gill, Sr Elizabeth and the Salesian team for leading the retreat day of faith, fun and friendship. Many thanks, too, to Mrs Grogan, the P6 teachers, parents and the members of the parish’s Youth Ministry Team for helping with the organisation and all the arrangements. A great day was enjoyed by all. We’re delighted that this retreat day has now become an annual event in our parish calendar.
Mass for our beloved dead takes place Sunday 12th November at 12noon. The families of those who have lost a loved one over the past year have been invited but, of course, everyone is welcome who wishes to pray for those whom they have lost. Refreshments will be served in the hall after Mass.

Confirmation preparation meeting - Tuesday, 16th January 2018 at 7pm in St Joseph's for parents and sponsors. On the same evening and at the same time in St Joseph’s, catechists of the two parishes will gather with the P7s to lead them in preparing for Confirmation.

Choir forGolden Jubilee Anniversary 10.30am Mass 3rd December. The usual adult choir will be singing alongside the children's choir at this mass. The Healing Power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation: Thursday 9th November 7:00 – 8:30pm in the Upper Hall. Following the success of the talk on Reconciliation in March of this year and at the request of parishioners a second session on the sacrament of Reconciliation is planned. The session will reflect on the healing power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation.If you can, please join us for tea/coffee and a reflective and enjoyable discussion.
