Way of the Cross – Monday 10th April at 7.30pm with our friends from the Association of Bearsden Churches and the parishioners from St Joseph’s and St Benedict’s followed by refreshments in the hall. All most welcome.

Easter Vigil – 7.30pm on Saturday 15th April. If you have never been to an Easter Vigil Liturgy before, it is well worth attending. Weather permitting, it will begin with the blessing of the Easter fire in the grounds behind the hall. Karen, John and Mark, who for the past year have been journeying through RCIA, will be fully received into the Church at this Mass. Refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards. Please do make an effort to come along. Please note, there will be no vigil Mass at 6pm on the 15th April.

St Andrew’s Parish Golden Jubilee Celebrations in conjunction with The Lisbon Lions 50th Anniversary. Friday 12th May, 7.30pm – 10.30pm in the upper hall. A Family celebration. Evening’s Compere, Lisbon Lion and former St Andrew’s parishioner, Mr Jim Craig, with quiz and screening of highlights of the 1967 match. Tickets £10 includes Fish Supper. Big Clean for Easter: In preparation for Easter, the church will be cleaned on Wednesday 12th April after 10am Mass. We are looking for as many volunteers as possible (men as well as women) to come along and help with thistask.

St Andrew’s 50th Anniversary Art Exhibition Thank you to all the artists who have already submitted artwork to be included in our exhibition. In order that I can start to prepare labels etc. for the exhibition I would be grateful if you would kindly ensure that the following information is either included with each piece of art and/or (preferably) emailed to me as follows: Full name of the artist, title of the artwork and a short description of the work e.g. type of media used etc. For easels please make sure that these are clearly labelled in order that they can be returned to their owners at the end of exhibition. 50th Anniversary…..St Andrew’s church. A booklet has been produced as a guide to both parishioners and visitors. Along with a history of the church there is an explanation of the mosaics and emblems. The booklet is available from the Piety stall, price £1. Proceeds will go to one of our anniversary charities. Also, as part of marking our parish's 50th, we have a selection of Mass cards in the piety stall, designed by Siobhan McLaughlin, each with a feature of St Andrew's church.
