Youth Noticeboard – had a look at it lately? New photos added of recent youth events – the April Youth Prayer Service, the Mission Week Youth Mass, and the Caritas Awards Ceremony. Dates to note - Primary 6 Day Retreat 26th Oct; NET Ministries Day 29th Oct; Nightfever 16th Dec; Children’s Choir Concert 17th Dec. Plus, we’re hoping to arrange, with St Joseph’s, a joint reunion for P7s, sometime before the end of the year.
Sacrament of Confirmation will be celebrated for P7 pupils of St Andrew’s and St Joseph’s Parishes in St Joseph’s Church 7pm 6th February 2018. Enrolment forms available in the porch to be returned please by 30th July.

Iona Retreat Meeting – All information regarding our parish’s Golden Jubilee Iona Retreat is contained in the letter which retreatants received a few months ago. However, for those who might have any questions or concerns, there will be a short meeting in the Upper Hall at 6pm on Thursday 20th July 2017.
Evening Pilgrimage to Carfin for St Joseph’s and St Andrew’s – Thursday 13th July. Bus will leave at 6.30pm at the Post Office in Milngavie and return at 9.30pm. All are very welcome.

Spirit of Peace Jubilee Garden – please feel free to go in anytime and take a seat. Enjoy the peace. The work on making safe the boundary wall will soon be complete. Work on landscaping the raised planter at the front of the church will soon begin.

The RCIA Programme (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adult) will begin in the autumn.RCIA is the process by which adults are received into the Catholic Church. The programme of catechesis and instruction prepares adults for the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, usually celebrated at theVigil.Please speak to Fr. Mackle if you would like to know more about RCIA and the Catholic faith.

Divine Mercy Novena is prayed weekdays after morning Mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. All most welcome. Legion of Mary meets on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the Hut. New members always welcome.
For the 50th Anniversary - a booklet guide to both parishioners and visitors. Along with a history of the church there is an explanation of the mosaics and emblems. Price £1. Proceeds will go to one of our anniversary charities. A selection of Mass cards in the piety stall, designed by Siobhan McLaughlin, each with a feature of St Andrew's church.
