Primary 7 Farewell Party!
Congratulations to the team of St Nic parents for organising a memorable Farewell Party. The excited children of St Nicholas’ had an enjoyable evening in an amazingly transformed and colourful St Andrew’s hall….a farewell party evening with their teachers which will no doubt form part of P7’s wonderful memories!
We wish St Nicholas’ P7s the very best of luck for the future.We wish them, too, and their families and the whole school community a lovely summer!

Interested in being part of a Parish Visiting Team? We would like to form a team to visit homes in the parish. Volunteers would be giventraining and would visit in pairs. They would be required to complete a Safeguarding form and attend the Safeguarding Induction course. Please get in touch, if you are interested.
St Joseph’s and St Andrew’s – We’ll be meeting soon to explore us working more closely together. Regular updates following Deanery Council and Pastoral Area meetings will be made to the parish.

SVDP Report - Thanks to the generosity of many parishioners, in the year 2022/23 St Andrew’s SVDP was able to support some families in St Nicholas’ Primary - £370, St Gregory’s SVDP with £500, Drumchapel food bank with £100, Lincoln Flats Community Project with £750, and our twin parish in India with £120.

The church is open until 5pm Mon to Sat. Call in and enjoy the peace and quiet, and take time to sit in the stillness in the silence of God. Tea is served in the hut after Mass Mon to Thurs. All most welcome.
Before receiving Holy Communion, we are asked to make some act of reverence such as a bow.
Saturday Adoration Do come and spend some time each week to be still before God at our Saturday Adoration. If shopping at the cross, or out for a coffee, pop in for some quiet prayer. Have a heart to heart with God. Sat 10am ~ 11am , with Confessions throughout. Sunday Confession 9.15am until 9.40am.

All councils have submitted their initial reports as requested for 18th June.
After the summer the Evangelisation Steering Committee will respond with feedback to encourage Councils in continuing to reflect on how we can be an evangelising church and how we can best use our resources.
Our soup-run volunteers collect donations every evening from M & S Milngavie for delivery to St Gregory’s Foodbank and Aspire West. If you are interested in volunteering once or twice a month, please get in touch with Veronica McLaughlin - [email protected].
