"Father, guide us with your light.  Help us
to recognise Christ in this Eucharist."

Special Relief Fund - From last Sunday’s first collection, £1715 has been generously donated by the parishioners of St Andrew’s to the George Square Tragedy Special Relief Fund. This Fund will support those in need and affected by the tragedy, some of whom have close relatives in St Andrew’s Parish.

We were delighted to have Deacon Frank Trias with us last weekend and assist as deacon at the 10am Mass.  Keep Frank in your prayers in this his final year of his seminary training for his Ordination to Priesthood, which is expected to be sometime after summer.

Coffee Morning - After 10 am Mass on SUNDAY 11TH JANUARY. Please note that this is a week earlier than normal as we have decided to conjoin our usual coffee morning with the parish coffee morning for the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. This will be a free coffee morning and Fr Mackle has kindly agreed that a donation will be made to this month's chosen charity, namely The White Lily Fund, which was founded by one of our own parishioners, Angela Bruno, MBE and raises funds for cancer research in the west of Scotland. Many thanks to all who came along to our Festive Coffee Morning in December. The sum of £100 was raised for The St Nicholas Care Fund. We'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who are involved in helping out at the coffee mornings and to all those who come along and support them. It is very much appreciated and we couldn't do it without you all. Every best wish for 2015.
Veronica and David Maguire.

Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. We look forward to welcoming all families who, over the past year or two have had a celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism, joining us at the 10am Mass on 11th January for this Feast. Teas / coffees will be served in the hall after Mass.

A sincere word of thanks to all those who worked so hard in so many ways preparing the church for Christmas. All the musical, liturgical and decorative preparations, and people’s involvement, especially in various ministries are greatly appreciated. “Christ has been born for us, come let us adore Him”
