4.30pm- Benediction . All members of the Parish are welcome and invited to enjoy a prayerful and uplifting time together. Remember and bring a packed lunch.

During a special ceremony called Institution of Lector, Nick Pryce will take the next step toward becoming a Permanent Deacon. All are invited to this ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, 15th November at 12noon Mass in St Andrew's, Cathedral. Keep Nick in your prayers.

Primary Three Families - The Sacrament of Penance (First Confession) in Lent 2016, and First Holy Communion in May 2017. Parents intending to present children, who are in primary three, for these sacraments, are required to complete an application/enrolment form available in the porch and return it by 11th October.

Passion for Christ – Passion for People - Annual Mission Sunday Appeal will be on 18th October. This year we are invited to reach out and help Justina and others like her in Africa who struggle to get an education. She is a primary school pupil who lives in Zambia and faces tremendous obstacles in her quest for education. Visit www.missio.scot for more information. Charity Concert in aid of the Foundation for Relief and Reconciliation in the Middle East to be held at New Kilpatrick Church on 13 November 7.30pm. Bishop John Keenan, Bishop of Paisley, will give a talk on the October 2015 Synod on The Vocation and Mission of the Family in the Church and Contemporary World in the Upper Hall at 7:00pm on Thursday 29th October 2015. Bishop John's talk, which is part of our parish's Adult Faith Formation programme, will begin with tea and coffee and there will be an opportunity for questions and discussion afterwards.
Scottish Churches Anti-human Trafficking Conference - Saturday 17th October, 9.30 - 4 pm in St George's Tron Church, Buchanan Street. At the conference will be Aidan McQuade, who is Director of Slavery International, and delegates from Africa, Asia, the Caribbean and Europe. It will be a great opportunity to hear from international speakers on this important issue.
