A good and important part of a plan for Lent is Confession. Medicine of Confession ~ brings great peace and immense joy. Saturdays 10am - 11am. Sundays 9.15am - 9.45am.
Adoration for Lent: Do come and spend some time each week to be still before God at our Saturday Adoration. If shopping at the cross, or out for a coffee, pop in to St Andrew's for some quiet prayer. Have a heart to heart with God each Saturday during Lent from 10am until 11am , with Confessions throughout. Sunday Confessions will be from 9.15am until 9.45am.
First Confession - Sacrament of Reconciliation – Saturday 25th March - 10.00a.m – 11.00 a.m.
Family members are encouraged, too, to take the opportunity to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

Scratch Choir - Easter Vigil Music invitation. We would like to issue an invitation to all parishioners, including children (from P4 upwards), to form a scratch choir for the Easter Vigil at 8pm on 8th April. If you would like to contribute to the music liturgy , then please email Annamaria ([email protected]) by 5th March. Initial rehearsals will be in the form of a YouTube recording and there will a final rehearsal the week before Easter, to be arranged. All welcome.
Washing of the Feet – Volunteers required to have their feet washed at the Mass of the Lord’s Supper 7pm Thurs 6 April. Please enter your name on the sign-up sheet in the porch.

Volunteers needed, please. After the 8th April Easter Vigil and after 8th May Confirmation Mass, we would like to have receptions in the hall. To do this on both occasions, we need volunteers to help with hall set up and clear up, and making teas and serving sandwiches. If we could have a group for each evening it would good. Please get in touch if you can volunteer.
2nd Collection during Lent will be taken up to support our sick and retired priests. On 4th Sunday, the collection will be exclusively for SCIAF. Wee boxes available in the porch.

Legion of Mary welcome any volunteers Active and Auxiliary, who would like to join them in their work within the Parish. Active Membership involves attending a meeting each week for one-and-a-half hours where the rosary is prayed and then business discussed, ensuing from the meeting, work is allocated and carried out in the days following the meeting, usually a further one-and-a-half hours work. The role of Auxiliary Members is to pray the rosary and say the prayers of the Legion for the work of the Legion within the Parish and worldwide.
